- You know that when you leave your kids with their dad, you will return to find them happily fed, smiling at you with chocolate or pepsi mustaches.
- You know that when you ask dad to get baby ready for the day he will change their diaper, and possibly put on mis-matched clothes.
- You know that it is sure to rain when all the cars have been washed, and waxed.
- You know you will never find your cheese grater again after he has done the dishes for you.
- You know the right moment to start dozing off at night is when you hear the words "It's KUTV's Talkin' Sports!".
- You know the only way to catch a fish is with a worm (which you have pinched in half with your fingernails) and a stale fruity marshmallo.
- You know that Oreos or Ritz crackers make the best night-time snack.
- You have found out that it is in fact possible to watch TV with your eyes closed.
- Although Mom says "no", Dad will usually give in when you smile pretty, and bat your eyelashes.
- You have learned to respect and love your family and your spouse.
- You have learned a great deal of faith, and learned how to apply it in your life.
- You know your home is always safer when he is there.
- Although you sometimes don't understand why, you know that despite your imperfections, he loves you with all his heart.

Oh Dad
I know a lot of people have made lists like these, so in tribute to Father's Day I wanted to share my own list of a few things I have learned from my dad, and my husband Rob. They are also some of the things that I love the most about them. Perhaps you can relate to most of them.
